jiak! i've been trying very hard to adapt penang lang life style here for the past 7days~
seiously, penang lang, very bo siang!!LOL
they told me about the life style, whats their culture, and what they usually do..
to be honest, i dun really like the way they hang out..
i mean, i dun club, i dun drink..hmmm..they're like got a lotof time hanging out around with frens..
but i wonder, if i got so much time to lepak around?lol
full time working is not easy man..come back still need to do chores and all that..
okok..nvm..lets see how im going to figure out soon..=p



so, the very first week..i met a lot of challenges dah!
challenge #1--penang lang drive extremely violent
ohhh...orang kampong like me super scared la..lol
they dun practice bertolak ansur at all, and they dun follow the rules one..never!
wuuhhhhh..my friend said, soon i will be one of them..i guess, im forced to be..lol
if u dun dare to step out, you will never have the chance to..

challenge #2--penang lang's language
commonly, chinese here speak hokkien, therefore, youngster here speak english campur hokkien!
this is so challenging wey! i used to speak cantonese, mandarin in my study place..
but here.totally different!
and in my work place there is malays, and  i speak very cacat malay..i have to learn a lot then!hehe

and speaking about my work place, let me story how actually is my position inside.
the whole department(quality assurance) the is three main teams inside..all those engineering teams
and im in the team of "Quality Management System"..
so inside the team, there is my Supervisor, 2 leaders, 3workers, one interns and me..
all of them are married aunties, except the intern malay guy..
so, im the youngest inside! >.<

well, whats my job scope now?
i will be taking care of customer audit from now on..which previously is just done by my supervisor
hence i will be a lil assistant for her now..
helping her in the audit and management, dealing a lot with the engineers and customers.
besides, i will become one of the coordinator to take charge of the regulatory requirement..
fuhh man! the past few days i was just given the specs to read and study their procedure and all that..
that was sooooo boring!
a lot of pro technical terms inside that made me confused!
usually they hire engineers in this department(most of them are)..i dunno y they hire me..lol..im lucky kot?



one if the series of product..i have to memories..but for me..they just look all the same.. =/
challenge #3--different accent for different nationality
i'll be dealing with the customer from all around he world like London, Japan, Euro, Australia, US...
last friday i got the chance to "involved" in my supervisor's national conference call meeting..
OMG!! though i just sit there and listen..but i felt supa supa stress!
so hard to catch their lines..i was like....can i have subtitle? =.=
my weak listening skill, gonna be polished!
the first customer will be Japanese the week after i will be meeting them dy..
will be lotsa preparation this week i guess?




challenge #4:--recognising new roads
poor me, i just got to know the only way to go office and way back home
start to explore and experience got lost in the middle of the way
luckily i have GPS..=p

these are all the difficulties im facing currently..
but in the other side, i have lots of blessings too!
there is so much that God has prepared for me over here!

im lucky to have my aunt place to stay now before i move into the condo..
at least they guided me and gv me some tips.lol
and i was praying for at least meeting one christian in my work place..
and the first person i get to know, already a Christian! haha!
and all the time we mix together, shes an Euroasian, named Gwendolyn Tricia Kressler.supa geng i can remember her name..lol
really so grateful for that!
and shes local penang lang..so can bring me out..lol
very ngam one her bf is staying in the same garden here..very very near..
hmmm..God is so good!!!haha

and workplace ah..very very flexible..haha
u can go work anytime..they just want your result and as long as you work 8hours everyday..the time is not important..keke (euro company is more flexible)
besides, our company practice "short friday"!haha
every friday if you completed your task you can go back at 3pm..nice right?
haha..so i have shorter working hour..=p hooray!!!



but i heard my colleague say our department have lotsa urgency on friday one..lol
lets see..
but last friday our department have a short "durian festival" on short firday.
after3pm, everone is invited to join..
just go and eat as much as you can..lol
well i dun eat durian, and i dun like mangoesteen(they're sour lar...) so i am forced to eat rambutans..lol
but i had fun knowing new ppl there!

they said this one very holiao one! all kind of branded durian you can find here!

forced to take one..supa sour! yuksss

i prefer seedless fruit, too bad i still need to eat them
